PokerListings Awards 2023 – Best Poker Operator Overall & Best Streamer
And so, it is finally time for Category 7 and 8 in the PokerListings Awards 2023! That means we are approaching the end, considering we have nine categories in total. In our previous articles, you can read more about all the earlier categories and the nominees.
In Category 1 and 2, we revealed our nominees for best poker operator for beginners, as well as best poker operator for grinders. Category 7 will see six poker operators face off against each other for the title best poker operator overall. This could be considered one of the most prestigious categories out of all.
Category 8 is quite the interesting one, seeing as we will nominate no less that six poker streamers, who will all battle it out for the title “Best Poker Streamer of 2023”.
With that said, let’s dive into the categories and see who are the nominees!
Category 7 – Best Poker Operator Overall
Wow. Just imagine being a poker operator and being voted “best overall”. This category surely is one that all of the nominees wants to win.
What we are looking for, are poker operators that are exceeding in all of the departments that we went over in Category 1 and 2. That means, for example, having good poker bonuses. The value of the tickets depends on the amount of your deposit.
Low rake is also a highly appreciated feature amongst poker players. The low PokerStars rake is not the only reason they made it to the list, but it certainly contributes. PokerStars offers as low as 3,30% rake on certain tables.

Category 8: Best Poker Streamer
At this point, Twitch has been around for a long time and even though they were not even close to being the first live streaming service, one must admit they took it to another level. Eventually poker players started streaming their sessions on the site and it’s been a very important factor in giving poker a good reputation and attracting new players to the game.
When streaming poker online, the streamer must put on a good amount on delay (thus eliminating the risk of any player seeing the streamers hole cards in real time). Because of this, it can be hard for a streamer to have a good interaction with the crowd. Those who still manages to have a good interaction with their viewers even though they are streaming with delay are truly professionals at their jobs.
Another important aspect of streaming poker is to keep your focus and control when going deep in a poker tournament. Just imagine: you are playing heads up for the WSOP Online 2023 title, and at the same time, you are streaming with the purpose to share the joy and deliver good content to your viewers. Girafganger7 did just this earlier this year, which is why he is one of the six nominees.
