Coolbet Open: A New Chapter in Bratislava with PokerListings Live Reporting!
The Coolbet Open is going for gold by changing its home base from Tallinn for its live events to Bratislava. The great Banco Casino will be the host of the event, which will have its 6th edition in its history. With over 25 events, including a Main Event with a buy-in of €550 and a guaranteed prize pool of €300.000, there is plenty of fun out there to participate in. Besides all the events, the Coolbet Open is mostly known for its great atmosphere and its big horde of Nordic and Baltic players. From September 4th it will be an electric series to go to, PokerListings will be on location providing the poker industry with all the insights, bad beat stories, and everything that comes along, as we will take care of the live reporting for this event, held at the capital city of Slovakia. Once Upon a Time at Coolbet
For anyone who doesn’t know Coolbet yet, they kicked off their brand back in 2016 and offer online casino games, alongside online poker. Not only do they have their own poker client, but they are also organizing their own live events. As the head office of Coolbet resides in Tallinn, it was an easy choice to organize their events in the capital of Estonia as well. On May 1st 2018, the first-ever live event was held at the Olympic Park Casino. It was eventually the Fin Sebastian Wahl who walked away with the first prize, together with €50,100 in earnings as he bested a field of 425 entrants in the Main Event, accumulating a prize pool of over €200.000! The most recent event, at the end of May of 2022, had a prize pool of over €300.000. Estonian Kaido Mikk kept the trophy in his home country and bagged a nice €65.700 to take down the Main Event.

After 5 successful events in Tallinn, Coolbet thought it was time to move their location for the Coolbet Open to Bratislava, Slovakia. The iconic Banco Casino is becoming a true hotspot in European live poker, and they were super excited when they heard they could host this wonderful event. Not only are there plenty of events to be enjoyed by the players but there are also stunning amounts of live qualifier events available. Bratislava is well-known for its beautiful city centre area, filled with bars, restaurants, and cultural activities.
